About

Dr. Chung is a clinical psychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety-related, mood, ADHD and adjustment disorders across the lifespan (such as divorce or job/school/relationship stress). Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Dr. Chung is dedicated to providing the most current and effective evidence-based interventions with a passion for helping children and adults. Dr. Chung served as a supervising psychologist at Mount Sinai Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center on a federal grant-supported project called HEARTS. In addition to training other clinicians in trauma-informed treatments and assessments, Dr. Chung has published in the areas of child trauma, developmental/complex trauma, suicide, and has given presentations on how to engage and support caregivers throughout treatment. Currently, Dr. Chung is an active member of the DBT consultation team led by Jill Rathus, Ph.D., co-developer of DBT for adolescents and master DBT trainer.
